Additional Bed Bug Dog Detection Teams Trained for Growing Infestation Problem Bed Bug Infestations are on the Rise September 29, 2008, Toms River, NJ: Action Termite and Pest Control (www.actionpestcontrol.com or www.njbedbugdog.com ) is pleased to announce that two employees have been added to our Bed Bug Dog Detection Teams. To provide our customers with more flexibility when scheduling their bed bug sweeps, Emil Cardasco and Marshall Cohen, both experienced pest control operators have received training on the handling of our Bed Bug Dogs to detect infestation areas. Sara and Rex, are certified Bed Bug Dogs, trained by the Florida Canine Academy. Each dog has over 800 hours of training to detect bed bugs in commercial and residential buildings. Both were originally rescued from a shelter in South Florida and is now helping Action Termite and Pest Control protect the environment of our customers. In the past, chemical applications had to be made throughout a given hotel, education facility, hospital, nursing home or furniture store . Thanks to Sara and Rex, targeted treatments to the infestation area or rooms are possible.
